DH funny about Johnson's Bedtime Lotion

So I was putting some on Ava tonight after her bath and this is the conversation DH and I had:

DH- what's that you're putting on her?

Me: Lotion

DH: is it girly lotion (?????)

Me: Um no (reading him the bottle) it's called "Johnson's Bedtime Lotion" says it helps baby sleep better.

DH: Really?! Well slather it on her.

LOL- yeah cause it's that easy. Rub lotion all over her and she'll magically STTN.

LOL! I love the way that stuff smells, but all my kids have such sensitive skin that we can only use hypoallergenic stuff.

Amazingly, they are all good night sleepers with out it : )

So we have a friend who worked for J&J, so when the babies were born, she sent over a giant basket of J&J products. It had the bedtime bath, bedtime lotion, aveeno lotion, and a bunch of other stuff.

So when the babies were old enough to take baths, I just started using the bedtime products since it's what I had on hand. When we ran out of the lotion, I handed DH the Aveeno bottle. He took one look at it and says..no no this isn't the right lotion for sleeping.

Not the right lotion for sleeping? oooooooook.... I'll go get more of those.

I'm telling you, Alex and Harry are going to be going to college with these bedtime products. One night, when Alex was so so sick, I used the vapor bath (think Vicks in a bath). Well, he didn't sleep all that well that night and DH blamed it on the bubble bath! It's not the fact that the kid can't breath and has a double ear infection, it's the bath smells!
