Yes. He tried to play the "I don't know how to change a diaper" or the "what if she pees on me?" games. But he changes them now, without me even asking!

Yes he does, but on a normal day I change all of her diapers. I stay at home though and he works, so it just works out that way sometimes.

My H pretty much sucks. I bet between both kids he's changed 10-15 diapers. I know for a fact he's only changed Grant 3 times.

Absolutely! If El times it right it's his first task when he gets home from work every night! He also does the middle of the night change (most nights) so I can pee before I feed her. I'm home with her during the day, so I do most of them. I don't mind sharing a few with him! He was afraid at first, but he's a pro now!

I think I didn't change one diaper for the first two weeks of the kid's life. My DH has changed a lot of diapers. He actually wants to see the aftermath if Dane takes a particularly big dump. We are weird. LOL

Yes, he changes Leonardo (when he's not at work) whenever he notices he needs changing without being asked.

However, he never,ever changed my stepson's diapers... and they are twins. I asked him what happened when he would take the boys for "Daddy Outings" - he said that they never went more than ten min from home so his ex, mom, MIL or baby nanny could always come to where he was to change the boys. Hmm

His defense is that he lived in Cuba and in his culture men taking care of babies is "just not done". Also, he had a baby nanny and way more help than we did and he was much younger at the time.

While that $hit doesn't fly around here, to each their own, I guess...

My friend's husband won't change their daughter's diapers. He will change their son's but he is uncomfortable with changing his daughter's diaper - I guess he is really paranoid about anything close to pedophilia. He just doesn't want to be anywhere near her privates. I think it's weird. My DH changes DD's diaper.

I'm a SAHM, so I do the bulk of diaper changes. He will do it when he's come, but since he's not around as much I usually need to point out "Oh, DS hasn't been changed in a while..." and he'll take the hint.
