Had my first prenatal appointment today!

Pretty routine - peed in a cup, went over my history, did a physical exam, and she gave me paperwork to go get bloodwork done, and to schedule my 12 week ultrasound, which has now been done - July 25th!!

In other news, my EDD is Feb 7, not Feb 6. After the doctor gave me that date, I checked a bunch of due date calculators online, all of which factor in my cycle length/ovulation date, and most of them say Feb 7, though a few said Feb 6. I must have randomly checked two of the ones that say Feb 6 when I first looked it up!

So I guess baby is not technically a sweet pea until tomorrow - I'll have to go change my ticker

ETA: I forgot! Only weird part of the appointment - my doctor told me I shouldn't vacuum??? She said something about the motion is bad for the baby. I looked it up when I got home and seems like an old wives tale to me. Maybe it is only bad if you have a heavy vacuum and are lugging it around??

I don't care if it's an old wives tale or not... I think I'll take a break from vacuuming for the next 8 months! lol

The vacuuming is an old wives tale. I vacuumed lots of times while pg with DD.

I'm glad you had a good appt though!
