Is pregnancy ever going to get fun???

Not to gripe (but I will), but I'm just ready to move on to the fun stage. Between heartburn, exhaustion, bloating and now sciatica (yippeeee!) I'm just ready for the second trimester. I want to start feeling better and have a cute little bump and have people be really nice to me. I mean, IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?!?!?

Okay, I feel better now. Anyone with me?

I'm with you. I remember very fondly the good times of pregnancy but the first tri (especially this time around) just is not it. I'll be happy to feel human again.

And ooooh... the movement. those kicks are to DIE for.

i'm ready too! my family and husband are already tired of me being sick and tired all of the time...and so am i. although today has been the best day in terms of m/s i have had in awhile. hope it stays this way!

Yep....1st tri blows! Kind of forgot how crummy it was. Looking forward to getting out of it. 2nd and 3rd with DS were a breeze for me. i loved being pregnant! Looking forward to loving it again!

Yes! Second trimester is the best because you are showing but you're not so big that you're uncomfortable. You generally feel better and have more energy than you do in the first tri.

To be honest, I hated being pg last time but I was dealing with m/s the entire time. This time it's not nearly as bad and I'm hoping I can really enjoy it since this will be our last DC.

Yeah, I can't wait for this first tri to be over! I loved later pregnancy with DD. Feeling her move was wonderful!!!

I loved being pregnant last time! I can't wait for second tri because that's when I started to feel normal again. I loved feeling movement, I can't wait for that again!

Agreed! I refuse to be one of those miserable pregnant woman because I am super excited and can't wait to meet this LO. BUT the last few weeks have been kinda miserable. And now I am starting to feel a little better (less nausea & cramping) so now I'm kinda concerned that something is bad is happening. Trying to remain optimistic!

I am normally one of those. Surprisingly, it's not been as bad this time, maybe because I'm continuing to workout which makes me feel great.

I never found being pregnant fun. Like PP I love the kicks and of course the end result of having a brand new LO. But in terms of actually enjoying pregnancy, never happened for me. Maybe this one will shock me. I'd love that. And I'm normally super-nasty also. I think I've been pretty nice (for me, anyway) this go around.

With my DS I wasn't sick at all so all this nausea this time around has really caught me off guard. I can not wait until 2nd tri because it was my favorite last time - you feel the baby move, you find out what you are having, you move out of the fat phase and actually look pregnant, and I felt better. Come on 2nd tri!!

I'm in it for the end result. I love the kicks, etc... and knowing that my baby is growing. But I don't enjoy actually being pregnant. The 2nd tri is the best part, but that's when I start to have trouble sleeping. At least I can learn from my 1st pregnancy, hopefully it will be a little easier.
