Anyone's pump last longer than a year?

My medela pump just kicked the bucket. I was only using it 3x a week- max. It was used by another mother (twice), so, it is outside of any sort of warranty. I am currently hand-pumping with an awesome little avent pump.

If your pump lasted longer than a year, care to tell me what kind it is and if you liked it?

    I am using my sister's Medela PISA.  She bought it in 2007, used it through 2 pregnancies, and I have been using it since April and it's still going strong.  I have a Medela Freestyle, too, but I am on my second Freestyle because the display stopped working after just a couple of months.

    Not a personal experience but a gal at my work has had her PISA for 3 years (pumped for 1 year several times a day) with both of her kids and it is still going strong. Sorry yours took a dump on you.... This is my worst fear, I got my PISA for free (used by SIL for 2 months, only a couple times) so having to drop almost $300 to replace it sends chills down my spine. I say a little prayer every day when I turn it on.

    My PISA, I used it twice a day (M-F) for 11 months on my first. Then my sister used it 12+months (I assume the same, 2x/day)

    And now I'm exclusively pumping and I use it 5x/day for the past (almost) 10 months.

    Yes.  I used my pump 3 times a day every day with my son from 2.5 months to 11.5 months and then now with my daughter 3 times day for the same time.  I also pumped at least once a day on the times I wasn't pumping three times a day.

    i bought my medela pisa in august 2007 - used it for ep'ing for 6 months, stored it until december 2010 and basically use it 4x a day during the week and once a day on the weekends since i returned to work in mid-january. no problems with it.

    My lansinoh has lasted 11 months so far @ 4 days/ wk, 3 times a day, with not one problem...

    If it's your motor it might be under warranty. Maybe you don't need to buy a new one it can be replaced.
