It's amazing!
She's already pooped three times in three days and peed about five times in the last three days.
We've had a few accidents, but nothing major.
What I'm confused about is this - what about when we go out? It sure must be confusing to a toddler to suddenly be in a diaper and she tells me "Kaka!" and I'm like: OK Honey
(because I'm driving, or we're at the grocery store)
Also, she doesn't really have the hang of taking off pants on her own yet. Should I get her real panties so we can practice? And should I let her wear them when we're out? I read an article that said this is best (for consistency) - then diapers are only for sleeping...at this early stage. Thoughts?
Re: Trying the 3-day bare-bottom way for Potty - A few questions
I think this is why the official "three day method" recommends wearing underwear (no pants) from the beginning instead of bare bottom. . . that way they get used to having something on, but it saves you on a little laundry.
I would do some panty practice.
If you're at the grocery store, you take her to the bathroom there. You can't pick & choose whether she uses the potty to make it more convenient for you. I'd also keep a little potty seat in the car until you're better established and you know she can hold it until you get where you're going.
