Do you mean pregnancy books or just regular? I always turn to "What to expect when expecting" for pregnancy and Agatha Christie is my all time favourite for a lovely 1930s murder mystery
Just shut the cover on Jenny McCarthy's Belly Laughs... absolutely AWESOME. I loved every page and actually laughed out loud several times. I totally recommend this fast, entertaining read.
Non preg books... The pact, by Jodi picoult. Fluff book something borrowed, by Emily griffin. Right now I'm reading the help- so far I love it, just sad.

non-pregnancy book: Midwives (picked it up at the library sale for 25cents!)
pregnancy books: making my way through Belly Laughs (Jenny McCarthy), Skinny ***: Bun in the Oven, 40+ weeks pregnancy planner, and Your Pregnancy & Birth. I think I may want to get a week-by-week book (the Pregnancy Book by Dr. Sears is highly recommended) so that DH and I can read it together each weekend.

I too am reading Girlfriend's Guide To Pregnancy, as well as The Mother of all Pregnancy Books (I think this one is specific to Canada). I have WTEWYE sitting at home.
I just finished reading the Sookie Stackhouse novels, and will start the newest one any day now.
I have WTEWYE and Eating Well WYE. I read Belly Laughs but wasn't actulaly that impressed...it sounded like I had heard it all before. I have The Pregnancy Journal, which I really like - it has lots of info. For an organizer, I have 40 Weeks + My sister in law lent me Birthing from Within and Baby Bargains. I'm a book junkie
