I have a Graco Metrolite Stroller - it does recline, just not all the way flat. Do I use the car seat until LO is bigger? The seat in the stroller just looks so big. Thanks for your help!
We used to have this stroller (and LOVED it). The recline is flat enough that I did use it alone w/o the carseat a few times when DS was really small but I always preferred the convenience of snapping in the carseat so I did that most of the time. If you're really concerned about it, you can buy one of those snuzzler inserts and that makes it a little more cozy for a tiny one. We still use one of these in the BJCM double for DD at 6 mos.
We have the same stroller and we started putting DD in the main stroller seat at 3 months. We still use the carseat as a travel system, but she fits just fine in the stroller too.

Not sure how this works in the states, but I know in Canada if you put inserts, or anything in the carseat it voids the warrenty as it makes the seat not as safe as it was meant to be... Not trying to be a ***, just wanted to let you know.

That is true for carseats. Not for strollers.
