I might have my mom supplement tonight since I couldn't pump. Can I just use the water from my fridge which is filtered...that's what I've done before...or should I get the baby water? Thanks!
We just use tap water. Unless there is something questionable about your water supply, or you have an older home with old pipes, there's nothing wrong with what comes from your sink or fridge.
I filter, then boil the water and store it in a separate pitcher in the fridge.
My pedi said the water should be boiled until DD has had at least 2 rounds of shots (3 mo). She made it a point to tell me that filtered or bottled water is not an appropriate substitute for boiled water. It may be overkill, but it makes me feel better to boil it.

Re: Which water for formula?
Same here. We used the bottled water for a while but realized we could save SO much more with our Brita.
I'd use the filtered fridge water.
Currently, we use a Brita pitcher and keep it on the counter.
