When are you going to start TTC?

This, except we are sure yet whether we are done or not. DS and DD are 27 months apart and it's perfect for us.

I had a m/c before Georgia and my Rh factor and other complications made it pretty difficult to stay pregnant with her. I don't think I'll be able to have a healthy, non-dramatic pregnancy and delivery so I'd rather just focus on her rather than have another year of stress like the last 12 months have been. = (

As much as I'd love to try for a girl, I don't know if my body could handle it or if I could handle another m/c. I thank God everyday that I got through 37 wks w/no complications to my DS but I don't know if I could do it all again. Being my doctor's highest risk patient, having to see him three times a week, bedrest and all of those testings would probably drive me nuts. That and they already told me that I'm old...35! (((lol)))

Who would think that I came from such fertile women...Nonna had 6 boys, Grandmother had 18 children...and then there was me with my dumb ovaries that refused to work correctly. *shrugs*

Again, I'm thankful for what I already have!

I always wanted 3 and mh wants to stop at 2. I am coming to terms with stopping at 2, so we will see. I am content right now.

Haha! I will lay money on that one too! I got pregnant with this one so easily I am afraid of sex! Too bad DH are basically like hormonal teenagers who just learned about sex for the first time!

Right now the plan is to start trying again when DD is around 3.5ish. We're planning on taking her to Disney World that December, so we'll probably start right around that time. I dont want to be hugely pregnant while at disney, nor do I particularly want to go there with a baby. I know lots of moms go with infants, it's just not on my to-do list.

I don't want to have 2 babies to look after at once. And I hear the second kicks your arse even harder than the first (which I believe, as I only make it out of bed before 9 or 930 if I have to be somewhere, and I hear toddlers don't really let that happen).

This is what my mother says. My brother and I are 2.5 years apart. She says one was a piece of cake but adding another was the most difficult thing she's ever done. She had to hire a babysitter just to sleep. (My father was out of town a lot.)

We're leaning towards stopping with one. I'm already 40 and it doesn't seem financially feasible either.

We plan to start TTC #2 when DS is a year old. Hopefully we'll get lucky again and have LO either at the end of the school year or early summer so I'll get lots of time off with him, but we'll see. Either way, I don't want them to be too far apart. If we have another boy we've already decided to go for number 3. If number 2 is a girl, we'll probably stop.
