Update... Good news at first u/s today after a scare

To all ladies who gave me your T&P yesterday, it paid off!!! Party!!!

I went in for an early (I mean 5 weeks 1 day... very early) ultrasound today, after my spotting scare yesterday. Just a little background on myself, I had an ectopic pregnancy in December and went through surgery, so when I spotted yesterday, I was very alarmed. I was a ball of nerves at the OB office today, so much so that my eyes started to well up the minute my very sweet OB came into the room. Anyway, on th u/s, there it was!!! A dot. I mean literally a little dot, that he explained to me is the sac. It is VERY small, but he is certain that's the sac and it is in the uterus! YAY!!! So my LO has settled in a good spot this time! I am so thrilled! u/s photo to follow when I figure out how to scan it onto my signature.

As a side (and funny) note, my OB said to me "You are brave (referring to us TTC and getting pregnant again so soon). Either that, or you are crazy." He said it with a Smile on his face. I answered: "Maybe just a little crazy." Stick out tongue

I go back again on the 20th for another u/s, so we can take a better look. All in all, I am so happy and feel very very lucky!

Thanks again, ladies, for all your support. I could not have made it through sanely without you.

    That's great news and gives me hope!  We've had 3 previous losses, and I go on Tuesday for my 1st ultrasound and I will only be 5 wks 5 days, but I have also had spotting which is making me nervous.  I keep thinking that this is going to be the time we see that little "dot" on the screen.  Congrats to you!
