When are you going to start TTC?

Maybe it's early to think about this, but when will some of you begin TTC again, that's if you aren't finished?

Note- I would make it a poll but there are too many choices

In about a year and a half - I'd like them to be between 2 and 3 years apart. Closer to 3 if you ask me, closer to 2 if you ask DH.

I don't want to have 2 babies to look after at once. And I hear the second kicks your arse even harder than the first (which I believe, as I only make it out of bed before 9 or 930 if I have to be somewhere, and I hear toddlers don't really let that happen).

We're two and done. Though DH jokingly talks about a third...I'm DONE. He can get PG and SAH full time with a third, I'll take the first two.

We're done, but I like the spacing of our kids: 27 months apart. DD is independent and can voice what she needs and she helps as much as a 2 year old can.

I always thought I wanted two kids, and close in age. But to be honest, I'm so focused on loving and enjoying my little girl, I'm not thinking about #2 yet. At all. Now I imagine not trying for another 3 years or so, if at all. Who knows, I may change my mind at any moment, but for now, that's how I feel and I surprise myself with my answer. DH and I haven't discussed TTC #2 yet.

We are thinking sometime after the beginning of the year. I might change that though. If I do change it then we will wait a little longer. Maybe when she is 15 or 16 months.

In September or August of 2012. If I get KU then LO would be born around the time DD turns 2. I would love to be a May mom again! Maybe I would actually get a May baby next time!

I agree with this. A 2nd one is not even on our radar right now. We had 2 miscarriages before Nolan and I needed progesterone supplements at the beginning of my pregnancy with him...if we have another one, I would say that Nolan needs to be at least 2 before we even started trying.

As much as I want to TTC within a year or two, FI & I have decided to wait at least 3 years.

And after that one, I want to TTC within a year or two! I think we'll stop at three LO's. haha

We are 98% sure we are done, BUT if I could be sure my body can handle another pregnancy to term, we would be TTC in 3-4 years.

We're not.

I had a m/c before Georgia and my Rh factor and other complications made it pretty difficult to stay pregnant with her. I don't think I'll be able to have a healthy, non-dramatic pregnancy and delivery so I'd rather just focus on her rather than have another year of stress like the last 12 months have been. = (

We'll start TTC again in about 2 years. That way, the earliest baby would come would be the month I graduate from my doctorate program. I don't to have a second baby while I'm still in school. Too much work.

Well, we're not totally sure... we want them around 2 years apart, so I guess we'll start trying next fall. I'd love to wait until DD could go to pre-school a couple hours a day a couple days a week, but I think that usually starts around 3 years old and I don't want them that far apart (not to mention I'm not getting any younger and DH really is trying to talk me into having 3 kids!).

No earlier than next fall. That may be our last baby, we aren't sure yet. Baby 3 wouldn't be until DS is in preschool, at least.

Either when DD is potty trained or DH gets promoted so I can be a SAHM. Hopefully the later since I'd love to have them closer in age, but like PP said, two in daycare just wouldn't slide right now.

We probably won't try again for three years. We want to enjoy R for a few years before adding a second child to our family and I don't want two in diapers at the same time. We also can't afford daycare for two kids right now.

If we try for #3, we would wait until DD is in school. My body needs a vacation from pregnancy and 2 in daycare is costly.

As soon as my OB says I'm good to start trying, I'll start getting DH drunk

(No, I don't need to have DH drunk to have a good time. However, suggesting we get drunk to celebrate his birthday early and three weeks later, I had a half dozen pregnancy tests that all said 'pregnant.').
