I have had two reactions to my zofran pump. One was the nurses fault, the second was from fluids pooling in my foot (oddly enough) then I reacted..
So my face is SWOLLEN, red, blotchy and hurts (as of yesterday) this morning, my neck is the same way.. WTF...
Could
this be the pump again? I do fine in the mean time... My injection
sites are red and swollen but nothing unusual for a harsh sub-q
medicine...Plus, I have had it for 8 weeks already.
I called the doctor's office but am waiting for a call back.
Re: Randomly reacting to a med?
Yup. I had an allergic reaction to penicillin when I was 19, after having taken it all throughout my childhood.
I also had a bad reaction to a migraine prescription I was taking after having already been on it for 3 months. It landed me in the hospital.
Allergic reactions are weird like that sometimes. Hope you get it all straightened out!
