***Friday Workout Checkin***

Woohooo its Friiiiddayyyy!!!

Today is one of the hardest days to make yourself workout out.

So what is/was your workout for the day?

Im having to do another QOTD instead of tip today work is swamped. So this will be a post and run.

QOTD:What is your favorite kind of tennis shoes?

  • Going for a walk soon to enjoy the beautiful day we're having here!

    I've been taking it easy the last couple days, as I was having some pretty bad shoulder pain - went to a chiropractor (who is also a good friend) Wednesday night and turned out I had a rib out of place. It was very tender still yesterday after the massage and adjustment, but feeling quite a bit better today.

    i just got 2 new pairs of tennis shoes - a pair of new balance and some adidas. i LOVE them both

  • Probably go for a walk this afternoon. I just cleaned the upstairs in our house - that should count for something, right, right ;)

    I need new tennis shoes - I usually always get New Balance but I some some nike's I liked the other day.

    Totally! My body temperature always rises when I'm cleaning, so while I may not consider it a 'workout', it definitely counts as being active!!

  • I don't normally do the workout checkin, but I'll jump in!

    I took DD to the zoo.  It's the 2nd biggest in the country and has a lot of hills so I consider it a good workout!

    My favorite tennis shoes are New Balance.

  • I'm struggling with the workout thing. I'm a runner and have been since high school. Usually run 3-5x per week for 3-5 miles each time. Love love love it. This spring, as wedding prep, I did a running/P90x combo (my second round) and have been in a place physically that I'm really happy about. Then....smack....BFP. Knew that something was up when I went for my run last Saturday and my boobs were making the sound in my sports bra that kids make when they flap their arm under their armpit! PHHHTTTTT...PHHHTTT....PHHHTTT (trying to type the sound...). Thought there was a gassy dog following me until I realized it was my chest bouncing around. At any rate, now I'm trying to be so careful (and it's been 90+ here everyday this week) that I haven't done a thing. Want to join you girls on the workout check in too! Going to try and get DH to take a 5k walk with me tonight, but I know it won't be as satisfying as my runs usually are...any thoughts?

    Anyone running here?

    Oh...and Saucony. Like running on supportive little balls of jello...a good thing :)

  • Mmmm... seeing this post = instant guilt! No workout planned for today and DH has a friend in town. Maybe I will hit the gym and let the boys play. Thanks for the motivation!

    Im still running alittle but not as much as I normally do. I run like you do! I did a half marathon at the end of last month! I miss my long runs I tell ya!!  So I now wont run over 3-4 miles.

    I love love love my saucony shoes!!!!

  • I walked 1.5 miles today with my coworker, and I'm going to do 45 minutes of cardio at the gym.

    My favorite tennis shoes are my Nike XT's, which the woman who runs my workout class suggested.  They're really comfortable, but I don't know if they're good for running.
