Feta

Eating salad with a little bit of feta on it. I scraped it off as best I could. Could someone please reassure me this will not lead to "our" untimely demise?

I feel like a crazywoman for even remotely worrying

    With DS I ate feta, colored my hair, got my nails done, and my doctor laughed at me when I asked if I could have lunch meat. I had never even heard of staying away from feta until I got on this board a couple weeks ago! You and LO are fine! :-)

    I ate feta cheese on a salad yesterday.  I was told most cheese in the US is safe to eat unless it's imported.  So, I think you are safe.

    This.  You're safe.  You just want to focus on eating cheeses made with pasteurized milk which is most common.

    I'm assuming US and Canada would be similar on that. Thanks ladies! It's just so hard to not be nervous!

    everything in moderation.  A lot of feta now a days is made from pasturized milk unless you are getting it from a farm.  Just don't eat a block of it everyday!  :)
