Two more nights :-(

...with my baby in my room.  I told myself that I will attempt to move her to her own room this weekend.  I know she's old enough, it's finally warm enough in her room, and I know it will be good for all three of us.  It's so sad though!  I love having her right next to me!

    I know exactly how you feel!  We moved DD about 3 weeks ago, and I still miss her.  I watch her on the video monitor and get sad that she's not snuggling next to me.  It was my favorite time of day when I'd take her into our bed at her bedtime, and we'd cuddle and she'd nurse to sleep, and I'd relax and watch tv lying next to her until I was tired enough to go to sleep myself.  Now I rock her and put her down, and re-join DH for dinner and we hang out in the living room.  Which is nice too.  But I miss that special time each night with my little girl.

    That being said, she is sleeping better now!  She goes to sleep faster and wakes less without the temptation of Mommy right under her nose.  And it's so nice to be able to snuggle DH at night again, instead of having a kicky baby with razor-sharp toenails in between us!

    Good luck! I keep thinking that I need to pick a date and stick to it, but I have not been able to do it yet.

    I strugged with this too. For about 6 weeks, we did half of the night in our room and half in his room and it really helped with the adjustment so it wasn't cold turkey moving him. I was still sad though. I still am, and he's been exclusively in his room for a month now.

    I was planning to have DD in my room until 6 months but we may move her out this weekend.  I know DH is ready to have her out but I'm really not.  She may, however, be getting too big for her mini co-sleeper.  She rolls over when she naps in her crib, but there's not enough room in the co-sleeper.  She's gotten up at 5:30 the past two mornings writhing around so I think maybe she'd sleep a little later in her crib.  I think the first night I may have to sleep on the floor in her room :0
