Today was my first appt! And I've been demoted :(
At the appt they made me:
Pee in a cup, physical exam (i just had my pap), bloodwork, and 2 ultrasounds!
Dr tried abdominal and we saw the gestational sack which was pretty blurry and I saw a few flickers, which could've been my eyes playing tricks. And then we moved to a transvaginal! And she measured me at 6w3d, which puts me at Jan 31st booo!! I'm gonna stick around here though since most pregnancies go past EDD.
And we saw the heartbeat, but didn't hear it. FHR was 105. Yay! Dr wasn't sure we'd see it, but it took her a bit to find it! My next appt is July 7th! I'll add u/s pic in my siggy later!
Please may I stay?

Of course you can stay! I went into labor with DD a week early and if I follow that same pattern I will end up being a January mama too but I'm staying here.
I'm so happy you got to see a heartbeat and your little baby!

the NT scan?
here's the thing - i dont do the NT scan - bc, well, it doesnt matter to me. i wont be having an amnio for further testing if they DID 'find something' and i won't abort either way - so its not important to me. it would make me worry about (likely) absolutely nothing at all.
some people want to know bc they WOULD do the amnio and want to be "more educated" about what MAY be wrong with their baby. some people would abort.
so for me, its not worth the stress. you may feel differently
