Separation Anxiety Already?

LO is 3 months today and pitches a fit when anyone except either myself or DH tries to hold him. It doesn't help that we live away from family and I am currently on maternity leave until the end of summer so he has had limited interactions with others at this point. Any suggestions? I always said I want a pass-a-round baby (e.g., a baby that is okay being held by anyone), but LO is totally the opposite.

Is anyone else experiencing this so soon?

    DD is a few weeks older but yes we are dealing with this. We also live away from family and don't interact much with others. We are going to visit family this week so it will be interesting to see how it goes. I didn't expect it for a few more months.

    Both of your situations sound like mine! We see our neighbors occasionally but not enough for DD to get comfortable with anyone. She hasn't had seperation anxiety yet but I fear it.

    Same with DD only we do visit family and friends at least a couple times a week. My mom held her 3 days ago for over 2 hours but then she came over last night and DD puckered out her bottom lip SO far as soon as my mom walked in the door. DD loves it outside so my mom took her outside to get reacquainted but as soon as they came in, DD cried until I took her. She's done this several times now with a bunch of different people. I love that DD wants me, but I really want her to love being with other people too.
