Hi Ladies,
I am hoping you can help me out here. I know they say cloth has high resale values, but is there some reason the used are just about the same price as the new? For example, on my local craigslist a woman is selling 2 thirsties covers (duo wrap size 1) for $20. Momsmilkboutique.com is selling them new 2 for 21.63, shipping included. I e-mailed the poster, and she won;t budge on her prices, but is there any reason to prefer used? Especially with a cover, (which doesn't require prepping- right?)
Thanks!
Re: Cloth resale values?
Agreed. The ONLY way I see her way making sense is if shipping is nutso, and they've never been used.
Cloth does have high resale value but not that high. Sounds like you'd just be getting hosed.

Ooo, that's a great price new, I might have to check that out! That's way too high for used. Even if they're in good shape I wouldn't expect to pay more than $15 for two.
ETA: Never mind, I see they're $1 more for prints and free shipping only above $25. I'll stick with Amazon.

Thats what I was thinking too! Thank you. They were used for about two weeks, supposed to be in very good condition, and shipping isn't an issue since I would be picking them up- but for that price I will buy new!
