  I just weaned a few days ago and I have seen the scale go down a little every day.  Finally.

  My birthson who came before I was ready. He doesn't call me mom but I love him just the same. ~7/10/99~

  When I weaned the stubborn baby weight that hadn't budged slowly fell off.

  I lost 10lbs in 2 weeks when I stopped nursing DS. I am hoping that happens again when I am done nursing DD.

  I'm hoping for a weight loss, but I'm afraid I will still continue to eat the same and go up:( I'm not sure how much longer I am holding out, so I might be able to report back soon.

  Thanks -- with my 1st, I gained 6 lbs back in the 2 weeks after I weaned and am hoping it was a fluke (and I will obviously be more careful this time).

  I'm still nursing once int he morning and twice in the evening, but I've lost two or three pounds since I quit pumping.

  I quit about a month ago and I've gained about 2-3 lbs.  But I haven't changed my eating or tried to lose it.  Sucks though.

  I'm just finding this post.  I weaned my daughter about 2 months ago and have gained approximately 5lbs, give or take a couple.  My appetite seems to be the same as when i was bf.  I just don't know how to change the eating habits and lose or maintain my current weight.  Guess I'd better hit the gym.
