Did baby mellow out around 1 month?

The past two days, my DD has totally mellowed out.  She's sleeping better, and when she's up, she's much more content.  In the past, we'd get maybe 20-30 minutes of contentment, and the she'd either need to nurse, rocked, swaddled, walked, etc, in order to mellow out and fall asleep again.

The past 2 days though, she is uber chill baby.  Am I just getting my hopes up that we've reached a new level of development or is this just a little phase?

    Still waiting for mellow. I wish we had 20 min of contentment! I can't put her down or she screams!

    Not sure if it's a phase or not, but our DS just started being that way this week. I am probably jinxing myself by talking about it. He's had 3 nights in a row of sleeping for 5-6 hours straight! Sorry Sleep Gods! Don't curse me tonight, please! Enjoy it! I sure am! :-)

    Hmmm, I don't know, but we've had to opposite happen.  I had the most chill baby for 1 month, now she's content 20-30 minutes. 

     I want my chill baby back, lol.

    Just this morning she woke up mellow!  And it's lasted all day.  No screaming, she stayed in her swing for over 30 minutes, didn't need to be held EVERY SECOND OF THE DAY, is looking around and focusing on things for good periods of time, and is SMILING (just little ones here and there). 

     I'm afraid it might just be a fluke and won't last, but we'll see!!
