My right eyelash and eyebrow is black, the left is blond, like white.. hence patches.. it was a name a friend teased me about in high school and it stuck. LOL.

I guess I now have to confess that my bump name is really lame. I first joined the bump when I was pregnant with DD, and I had some serious pickle cravings going on. (I know. So cliche.) It was all I could think about, and so it became my bump name.

But now I really wish it had some kind of sexual connotation because that would be funnier.

When I was in high school, a friend of mine starting calling me Phebes, after Phoebe on Friends. Apparently my ditzy and off-the-wall the comments reminded her of Phoebe. When signing up for my very first aol account in 1996 (I'm totally dating myself) I didn't want to use my name so I used my new nickname and added the 'x' because phebes was taken.

It was after I became phebesx and started getting all sorts of sex-related spam that I realized the 'x' probably wasn't the best idea. Oh well. It stuck and I've been using it ever since.

"m" is for my first name - Melissa, and "chupie" is short for "chupacabra" which is a mythical monster in south america that eats goats. Totally random, I know...we learned about it in spanish class in 9th grade and I thought it was so hilarious that my friends nicknamed me "chupie". It's pretty stupid, but it stuck.

Aw I like this post!! Mine might seem super obvious, but I actually got the nickname "Mother Meghan" in pre-school. I always wanted to "play house" with my little brother after he was born, helping my mom give him baths and change his diaper (yeah, what 3 year old wants to do that? seriously?). I love some of the reason behind your names!

My sister's friend in high school kept meeting me when he was drunk and couldn't ever remember my name so he made me a nickname, Matilda. For some reason this was easier than my real name, Elizabeth. So when I change my knot name because it was my first initial and last name, I chose Matilda and the song Waltzing Matilda kept popping into my head. 13 is my favorite number, my high school volleyball jersey number and I love Friday the 13ths.
