Found the perfect "in between" bathing suit!

Thanks to who ever recommended Target for Tankini's the other day.

I went today to see if just MAYBE I could finally find a tankini that fit well, had plenty of growing room for a late second tri baby bump for the end of the summer, and will completely cover my belly no matter how big I get.

I didnt think such a bathing suit could exist while simultaneously being cute too, but thankfully the Target godz have several!

This is the top I got (I already had black bottoms so I didnt bother buying new ones).

They also have this version in solids and other color polkadots. It fits my boobs well and covers my belly making me actually look more pregnant than fat YAYYY!!

I just thought Id share since Id had such a hard time finding what I was looking for. There are also a ton of other great tankini selections at Target too, but this was by far my favorite. I even stuffed a shirt under the tankini to make sure itll still fit fine when I get big. And it looked even cuter!

I was totally going to post about this same suit today. I've been trying to find a similar suit (one that covers the belly, but not an 8 1/2 month belly).

I LOVE THIS SUIT! I bought it in olive polka dot with a solid olive green bottom. It is long enough to cover a 5 month belly and, surprisingly, holds up my grossly enormous bewbs. I bought a large and it holds in my 36DDs pretty darn good!

Oh yay! Im so glad someone else found it too! I seriously was so surprised how big it will allow my belly to get before it starts to bunch up! I wont even come close to that big this summer, but it's nice to know Ill be able to use this for this entire pregnancy and then again for next summer when the PP blubber isnt up to bikini wear yet!

Is this in the regular section or the maternity section? I went to my local Target the other day and went to maternity and found NOTHING! I guess I didn't look in the regular section b/c I didn't think anything would work!

If it is in the regular section, I'll have to go see what I can find!

The regular section for sure! The stuff they had in maternity was hideous for the most part. Not to mention WAY to big for me. However if you already have a pretty prominent bump a mat bathing suit may work better for you. I pretty much just have a lot of bloat still but I expect Ill have a decent bump going before Im out of this bathing suit. I just didnt like wearing a bikini anymore because I felt like I was in that "is she pregnant or fat" phase. This tankini hides most of the bloat or makes it look like a legit bump depending on how much I ate that day haha1

I found the same one last week at target! I am hoping it works through the entire summer but I may go back and get the next size up just in case! Glad you found your cuteness swimsuit too!

Thanks for sharing! That is really cute! I looked at swim suits today, but couldn't find anything that appealed to me. I am going to make a point of checking out Target's collection.

That one is super cute! Great find! I found my "in between" suit at Kohls- by Croft and Barrow. It has shirring on either side and covers the belly great!! I like that there are other options, though!

That is too cute! I tried to go swimsuit shopping today, and was distressed to find I'm too small for a mat suit still (plus, they're ugly!) but the regular tankinis are too short/not big enough in the boobs. I will most definitely hit up Target tomorrow and see what I can find! It's 90 degrees and I want to go to the lake!

I got a non-maternity tankini from LimeRicki. A friend of mine is pregnant with triplets and was able to wear it when she was like 20 weeks (and 47 inches around) and it didn't look like she had to grease herself to get it on.

It's really cute on, and I like that they're bottoms actually fit my booty without giving me a wedgie every two seconds.

(Plus since I knew it would fit up until the day I popped - based on my friend. I knew it would be good since I will not be wearing a bathing suit in December when I'm about to pop)

That is soo cute! I have a 2 piece swimsuit, but don't want to wear it while pregnant and really don't want to get a 1 piece either. Looks like I am going to Target to get me a tankini
