I just wanted to add in my support.

I know I've only lurked on SAIF but you were such a great help to me on PAIF, so I couldn't pass this by without telling you we are pulling for you..

You'll be in our thoughts and prayers.

DH and I are already in the marrow DB after a friend's daughter received a similar diagnosis. Some encouragement: she received a transplant and is doing great.

We will be praying the same for your Kate.

Oh honey - I am so sorry to hear this. I myself am scared of starting chemo on Monday, but I would be doubly afraid if it were my baby and not me.

One thing I will say - I work at the center where the BMT was invented, and what we tell people is that BMT is the most important advance in hematological malignancies ever. It is without question THE single most effective treatment for bone marrow and blood failures/cancers that exists. Your little girl will be a survivor in good company of hundreds of thousands who have lived long, healthy and active lives due to transplantation. I know that doesn't make it less scary or heartrending, but I am sure she is in great hands. And of course Kate will be in all of our hearts.

OMG, I am totally crying for your precious little girl. Thank GOD you are in Houston, because that is the best place to be! Of, course I will spread the word and constantly keep Kate in my prayers; as well you and DH. I am so sorry.
