L, I am absolutely praying for you right now! You, Kate and your DH are in my prayers. I'm also having my mom add you all to our church's prayer list.
God works in mysterious ways, L, and I know that He will pull Kate through this time. The Power of Prayer has always amazed me and when two or more are gathered, wonderous things happen. {{{Huge Huge Hugs}}}

I will be keeping Kate and you and your husband in my thoughts and prayers. You are right, she is def. a little fighter and I just know she is going to fight this but I am just so sorry that she has too.

SAIF/PAIF Welcome
Lots of love and luck to my PAIF/3T/IF Veteran ladies, especially my dear friend Zookie. Congrats to Papps, Teach84 and Starbuck on their little ones.
I know I've only lurked on SAIF but you were such a great help to me on PAIF, so I couldn't pass this by without telling you we are pulling for you..
You'll be in our thoughts and prayers.
DH and I are already in the marrow DB after a friend's daughter received a similar diagnosis. Some encouragement: she received a transplant and is doing great.
We will be praying the same for your Kate.
To everyone else: PLEASE register. It's a simple cheek swab (no needles involved!) and you can save a life. Visit marrow.org
I'm so sorry this is the news you recieved. I imagine it must be so overwhelming and scary. It sounds like you have a great plan and support system in place for your little fighter!
Saying lots of prayers for Kate and your family! ((HUGS))

Living After Losing
Oh honey - I am so sorry to hear this. I myself am scared of starting chemo on Monday, but I would be doubly afraid if it were my baby and not me.
One thing I will say - I work at the center where the BMT was invented, and what we tell people is that BMT is the most important advance in hematological malignancies ever. It is without question THE single most effective treatment for bone marrow and blood failures/cancers that exists. Your little girl will be a survivor in good company of hundreds of thousands who have lived long, healthy and active lives due to transplantation. I know that doesn't make it less scary or heartrending, but I am sure she is in great hands. And of course Kate will be in all of our hearts.
I am a runner, knitter, scientist, DE-IVF veteran, and stage III colon cancer survivor.
Oh my goodness, LCB! That is just awful news about sweet little Kate. I pray that now that she has a diagnosis, a match will be found quickly and she will be on the road to recovery very soon. Sending lots of thoughts and prayers for strength, healing and peace...

OMG, I am totally crying for your precious little girl. Thank GOD you are in Houston, because that is the best place to be! Of, course I will spread the word and constantly keep Kate in my prayers; as well you and DH. I am so sorry.
