Re: TTC again **check-in**
Update: I had IUI on Friday. For the first time ever since TTC #1 or #2 I've had a full cycle of treatment (med/trigger/iui) where I felt hope and actually thought it could happen. Everything else I either over or under-responded.
QOTD: Honestly, I told DH this weekend, I don't even remember pregnancy. I wasn't sick or anything in the beginning just either starving or so full I couldn't look at food. I had to keep food in my nightstand to eat in the middle of the night. I started to swell a little at the end and had the worlds easiest delivery (aside from a 3rd degree epis). There was a lot of drama in my life and a lot going on between DH and I during my pregnancy, so I'm looking forward to being able to enjoy being pregnant from the moment I find out until I deliver.

Well of course you all know my update is that I had a m/s. I am waiting for results from the D&C and then I will schedule my WTF. Plan is to just "take a break" over the summer abd try 2 or 3 rounds of clomid (sort of makes me laugh that I consider clomid a break) and then we will do a fresh IVF in October. This is sort of a bummer week for me because had I not m/c in October I would been due this week : (
QOTD: I really liked being pregnant. I was very luckly and had an easy time. I just liked the way that I felt!! For once I was happy that I had a belly : ) Only thing I did not like was not being able to drink and getting unfomfortable right at the end but really I enjoyed being pregnant more then most people I know.
UPDATE: I just started stims for IUI. We'll see how it goes!
QOTD: The only thing I really enjoyed about being pregnant was feeling the boys swimming around. Other then that, I was miserable. For the first four months I had terrible all day sickness, After that I got sick at least once a day, I was on bed rest around 25 weeks, PTL at 27 weeks, and had my boys at 32 weeks. It was a roller coaster of a pregnancy! But, it's all worth it in the end
Update: I had my WTF appt last Thursday and we came up with a plan. I had all my clotting disorder and chromosonal testing done Saturday and DH will go in this week to have some testing. With AF I will start BCP and then cycle in July. We are doing the same protocol because it worked and he said all the embryo's were great.
QOTD: I hate the first tri because I am always overannalyzing everything. Otherwise I loved being PG!
TTC #1- unexplained...lost left ovary 4/07 IUI #1 2/10/09-BFN IUI #2 3/5/09-BFN IVF # 1-BFP
TTC#2- FET 4/7/11 BFP, Natural mc 5/5/11 IVF#2 ER 9/13/11, ET 9/16/11, Beta #1 9/27/11 BFP 254 Beta #2 9/30/11 793 -Twins!
Just finished all of my cycle testing! I have to wait to hear what my thyroid levels are because day 3 b/w was showing them to be slightly abnormal. Those results will let us know if I need to see an endocrinologists for medication. (Sigh..always something right?) I will know more tomorrow.
QOTD: What was your favorite and least favorite part of being pregnant?
Favorite:Almost everything! I guess especially feeling/seeing movement.
Least Favorite: Anxiety...all the time. 1st tri was all about if the baby was developing, are my lack of symptoms normal, will there be a baby on the u/s. Second tri was the quad testing, was he moving enough, was everything ok. Third was bedrest from week 28-36. I will say as soon as I left the hospital, I missed being pregnant.
Upddate: I ended BCP yesterday and start meds on Sunday for our target ER date of June 23rd! Can't believe we are doing this!
QOTD: I hated that I worried so much during the whole pregnancy about EVERYTHING. I was so scared I even had an ultrasound so I could hear his HB every day! I LOVED feeling him kick and move.
UPDATE: I have a D&C scheduled for Wednesday. I just can't stand waiting for nature to take over. Plus, not knowing when I'm going to (possibly) have that bug gush of blood is freaking me out. I'm afraid to leave the house. Our tentative plan for trying again is to enjoy the summer and then perhaps try again in Aug or September.
QOTD: I was really lucky... I had a great pregnancy. I felt great up until nearly the end. I loved the way I looked, my sex drive was up, I loved feeling the baby; it was all good, EXCEPT, I had bad heartburn from time to time. Oh, and I had one day of miserable swelling (our AC was broke for a day in the middle of the summer).
UPDATE: Waiting for my genetic testing from my d&c and then we will figure out where to go from there. Hopeing to be able to start trying on our own after sitting out this cycle.
QOTD: Besides stressing out during the entire first tri, I enjoyed everything about being pg.
UPDATE: IUI #2 was a BFN. I am not surprised, for some reason I just did not respond as well. Sitting out this cycle with cysts.
QOTD: I was so sick in the beginning/middle. Once I started to feel better the most awlful heartburn took over. Pregnancy was not my favorite. I was in labor 24 hours, 3 hours of pushing, and I tore. But I would do it again in a heart beat. Every time I look at my little girl.... It was soo worth it!
Life was insane yesterday- glad you posted the link.
Update: CD 13 here- if I O it will be some time between Thursday and Sunday. My expected date to call the RE was the 9th but I am pushing it back to see what happens. I actually have a phone interview with T Rowe Price on Monday and I know my mind will be focused on that this week and on Monday. Also, not sure if that will throw a kink in our TTC plans...we'll see I guess. In the meanwhile we keep trying.
QOTD: Favorite was definitely the kicks and having the big round belly. I know a lot of people hate the weight gain factor and whatever but I really liked being big and round. So silly, I know. I hated HATED being on bedrest that last three weeks of my pregnancy. It was like torture because I could never be comfortable no matter what I did. Gah.
Update: I guess I'm in my first 2ww. I have no idea if I ovulated or not, but I'm waiting for AF. I promised myself I wouldn't obsess or get worked up like when we were heavy into TTC, but alas I am excited and hopeful when I KNOW I should not be.
AOTD: I loved feeling the kicking and movement and watching my belly jump all over the place. I hated the anxiety and stress of a high risk pregnancy and all of the worries. So worth it, though.
Update: I AM PG! Yea! IVF with ICSI and PICSI worked! we are waiting for our u/s which is next Thursday (might as well be a million years away).
QOTD: What was your favorite and least favorite part of being pregnant? Favorite part was just being PG, knowing I had a little one in there. Least fav part was birth!
