i'm about to hit two months since stopping yasmin (after about 10 years on it) and still waiting for O and AF... would love to hear about others' experiences...
I'm on my first cycle off BCP (was on for 13 years), and it looks like I O'd on CD 11.

BFP #1 August 23
I was on bcp for eleven years and went three months without AF so I went on Provera. I O'd on the Provera cycle and have had non-medicated cycles since.
AF came 30 days after stopping BCP (on them for 10 years).
Now after 7 months my cycles are getting longer each time...
My doctor told me after a month your cycles are whatever they were going to be before BC (in other words if you have messed up cycles, it's not the pill's fault according to her).
If you haven't had AF for 60 days you should call your Dr.

The general advice is to see your doctor about getting your cycle jump-started if you reach CD 60 without getting a BFP or AF. GL!

4 weeks. I went regular immediately. For many, though, there can be wide variability. If you've gotten to 60 days, and you've taken a pregnancy test and its negative, then call your doc and they'll put you on some meds to induce AF.
Best of luck!

thanks all! i already saw my doc and he did b/w to test my hormone levels (which were fine) but he wants me to give it 12 weeks. so i'm waiting another 5 weeks and then i'll see what he recommends (provera i guess).
Well, I was only on it for two cycles, but I O'ed the month I stopped.

I was on BCP for 11 years and it took me about 4 weeks to O. I charted halfway through my first cycle off of BCP so it is possible that I could have O'ed earlier but FF just didn't catch it because of my lack of temps.

I stopped taking BCPs in Jan. I O'd in Feb and haven't since. I'm due in June for my yearly pap, so I'm gonna bring it up with my gyno as soon as I make an appointment. It seems odd to O right after stopping pills and then not again, but I know how wonky BC can make you.
I was only on the pill for about 9 months. I'm gonna assume it will take you longer since to get back to normal since you were on it for so long. If you go 60 days without AF, call your doc.

I didn't start charting until my second month off BCP but I did O on CD13 of that cycle. This is my second cycle charting and I O'd a few days later than that (still not sure when exactly).
I O'd right after, but my cycles have been getting longer, on my 3rd one now off BCP, I was on them for 9 years and very regular before going on them, CD26, CD33, CD36.
I do think it takes some people a few months or more to regulate after BCPs.
After being on the pill for about 10 years, I went off May 2010 to give my body time to adjust before trying for baby. When I first went off the pill, my cycles were fairly consistant but got longer and longer over time, with the longest lapse of period being 3.5 months! A year later I am on "cycle day" 75 with no sign of AF. I saw my doc and she suggested we do some tests to rule out PCOS, but have to wait until Day 3 of my next cycle before we can start that process. BOOO!!

I stopped Yasmin (after 1.5 to 2 years) on May 17th, and haven't had a cycle yet (some minor spotting for 1 day a few days after) but we have also been actively trying. I might be pregnant already, I might not even have ovulated and my body is waiting for my hormones to catch up and kickstart a cycle. Although I'm not charting yet so I don't know whats going on at all!
If I would have known the chances that it could seriously mess up my cycle (which was quite regular before bc, if painful and insanity inducing) I might have done things differently. Although when I talked with my ob/gyn about my plans, she seemed to think I was on the right track. I was on DepoProvera for several years and stopped the shot, switching to oral contraceptives two years ago so there wouldn't be a lag like there is with the shot. But now that I've looked into it and it can take (many) months to return to normal even after just the pill, I'm concerned it will be hard for me to get pregnant. Although, my cousin was on oral bc for several years and got pregnant two weeks after stopping hers, so everyone is different. I know its hard to do nothing but the most sensible thing to do is wait and see what happens and if your doctor becomes concerned, then discuss a treatment.
I've been off of the pill for 10 months and STILL haven't had a regular period. Last month my doctor tried me on Provera, which worked! After some bloodwork, it was determined I am anovulatory, so I am back on Provera and then Clomid in a few days. I hope it works, DH and I really want a baby!
I was on the pill since high school and decided to stop taking them and let nature take its course. I just got my first period the next month after stopping Yaz. We're hoping that I could get pregnant in the next few months or so, I guess that depends.
