My doctor was going to do a "stretch and sweep" tomorrow to try and help get the labor process going. However, after my internal exam at my appt on Friday I have lost my mucous plug over the weekend.
I'm wondering if my doctor will still do the "stretch" part tomorrow or is that only if I hadn't already lost my mucous plug?

We are doing it because I really want a VBAC and with a trial VBAC the hospital doesn't allow inductions. It doesn't always work but when it does a membrane sweep can take awhile to take effect and a few tries and that's all the time I have left before they start talking RCS. So I already know the thought process in her head and mine, I would rather not have the RCS and maybe I will go into labor all on my own but I also know my history with my previous labor/delivery. I will find out tomorrow what she will want to do, if anything, and if I'm lucky baby will come on all her own:)
Why not? Dr's sweep membranes all the time for women 38+ weeks.
OP, good luck, I hope if they do it, it gets things going and you get your VBAC!
