We are out Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Sometimes Wednesday mornings too, depending on the week. While I enjoy getting out, I find I can't necessarily get everything done that I need to around the house if we are out any more than this.
How many days a week do you go out?

My Blog
Every single day without fail. I honestly can't remember the last time we stayed in all day.
DS is 26 months old and we are living here temporarily - just a year - so in a tiny apartment with no yard. If we had a full sized house and a yard where we could play, it may be a bit different.....
We get out every single day. DD and I go to the gym M-F. On the weekends we go out and do something as a family. I have to get out of the house or I go stir crazy.
I usually get up before DD so I clean while she is sleeping and during her afternoon nap. With only one child I have found that it is not too difficult to keep up with the house yet. I do wonder about how it will work when LO #2 gets here. I don't plan on getting out of the house any less if I can help it.
We go out for some type of kids related activity every day and then we usually run errands afterwards. I think we'd all be super bored if we didn't, myself included.
Every single day. We go to the gym every day, two times a week we run errands after the gym. Now that the weather is nice we have been spending the other days outside - just playing out back or at the neighbors' yard, the playground, taking walks, having playdates etc. I just think it is good for all of us to get out
As a pp mentioned, I don't have a strict schedule of things that have to get done. I also clean as I go so the house never looks like a wreck

In the summer, every day. In the winter, probably 3 days a week. We have bad winters with lots of snow where I live and then lots of rain in the spring so our schedule changes drastically in the winter/early spring.
In the summer, I just live with the fact that my house isn't going to be as clean and laundry is going to pile up. It's worth it to me because we have so few months where it's really nice that I want to be out as much as possible.
This is us too. Things get done when they get done. I'm a sahm, not a housekeeper. I know many sahm's have differing views on their job around the house, but I don't take care of it all on my own.
Every single day. I always manage to find some reason to get out...I'd go absolutely insane if I didn't leave the house for more than a day. The only time I'll stay home is if DS is sick.
But I've only got one (for now). I'm sure it'll change once #2 gets here.
Every day. We have a rotation between the zoo, children's museum, beach, story time at the library, and a large playground all depending on the heat/weather.
I do my housework in the early morning. We have 2.5 hours in the morning as a family from the time the kids wake us up to the time DH has to go to work, so I spend about 15 minutes straightening up the house while he has some alone time with the kids in the morning. The bigger projects I do on DH's days off.
I try to get out of the house every day, but we're not actually going places every day. Sometimes it's just for walk. We go to the grocery store on Mondays, at least one activity outside of the house and we usually go see my mom once a week. So, we go out at least three times a week, I'd say.
We don't usually go anywhere until after he's had his first nap so that's when I get things done around the house. And I always try to be back by around 4:00ish so that I have time to get dinner ready before I have to get him ready for bed.

A year ago, we were out almost every single day. But that is because they were not quite 2 and the constant fighting would get unbearable if we didn't get out of the house.
Right now we only actually leave they house about 2-3 days a week. We do go outside every day, now that they are almost 3 they do a lot of playing out in the yard on their climber or in their sandbox. I also have a bouncy house for them that I set up a couple of days a week, so they can jump in that. We do a lot more activities at home now, mainly because I am in major debt reduction mode and any extra money I can save by staying out of the stores and not using gas driving my car around town, goes on the debt. I have made a huge dent in the debt over the last 3 months. We also have a pool that is now functional (last year it was not), and again since they are now older we are swimming almost every day.
Never ever ever. DH drives my truck, so I have no ride, and I can't do a single thing about it.
And it's driving me up the wall.
I can't even go talk to my OB about PPD. It's bad.
I'm sorry to read this.
Do you live near public transportation? Is there any way for you to get to the doctor? Does your husband know you need to talk to someone about PPD? How old is your LO? I really hope you figure it out because no one should feel like they are stuck at home without a way out, especially when PPD is involved.
We are out doing something almost every morning, but usually have a morning at home doing nothing once every week or two. We have a weekly playgroup, a weekly babysitting swap with a friend, music class starts in two weeks, and swim lessons start in two weeks as well. We usually do trips to the zoo and to meet friends for playdates if we don't have something scheduled. I have a babysitter one morning a week so I can get things done around the house and get out by myself to run errands and relax, so this cuts back on the amount of errands I have to run with the kids. I try to avoid running errands with them if at all possible. It just isn't that enjoyable for any of us.
It's hard getting out with two kids, so I can imagine getting out with four is incredibly tough, but now that the kids are getting a little older, it's getting a little easier. We are also out a lot more since it is summer, and we spend most afternoons after nap at the pool.
Every day. Monday-Friday we are gone from about 8:30-11:30 for Stroller Strides and moms club. By the time he's up for nap it's really too late to go anywhere (he gets SUPER cranky if we go out past about 2pm). Then on Thursdays we go to gymnastics from 12-1 and right now we have swim M-Thf rom 12:40-1:10.
We go out almost everyday. It is rare that we stay home and not go somewhere. Even if it is just to Target or the Mall (playland).
