Thankful Thursday

We haven't had one of these in a while and it seems we could all use a little brightening (if that's even a word) up!

    I am thankful that DS is still STTN. He's in bed at 8 and up again at 6 so I actually have time to relax at the end of the day.

    I am thankful that Maintenance Enforcement was part of the CO between X and I. It will make him that much more accountable to paying CS every month and not just when he feels like it.

    I am thankful that i've stuck with exercising every day. I now weigh less than before I got pg and am in the 150's...a number I haven't seen since high school Smile It took a lot of will power but it just goes to show that I can accomplish anything I set my mind to.

    I am thankful for my family for always helping me.

    I am thankful for a new guy in my life who is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and for the fact that I took the time to be in a good place before dating. Ladies you get what you put out there! If you are happy, confident and in a good place emotionally you will attract a man who is worthy of you! You will also read red flags better and have the balls to walk away from losers.

    I am thankful for the feeling of calm, happiness and peace I feel and have felt for the past couple months. Though there have been stressful moments, overall it has been awesome being in my own apt, being a family of two and feeling my confidence/happiness level skyrocket.

    This is very exciting news!  I'm glad you're found someone nice to spend time with.

    I'm thankful for my mom.  I wouldn't have made it this far without her.  I'm thankful for all my family, of course, because everybody pitches in to help out with Barrett, but my mom makes me feel like I have a partner.  She asks about his day, plays and loves on him, and alternates nighttime feedings with me so I'm not completely exhausted and doing everything on my own.  She's a more active and helpful grandparent than some husbands are as fathers (from what I can tell from the many DH vents I've read!)

    Congrats on all of this (the STTN thing has me jealous) but a BIG TIME pat on the back for getting healthy!! Way to go girl!

    I am thankful for my mom who has helped me immensely with LO since I am on my own (as you all are too). 

    I am thankful that I need my mom's help less and less every day!

    I am thankful for a full time job where I can take LO to work with me (I work at his daycare) and for the paycheck that allows me to feel better about myself.

     I am thankful that DS is happy and healthy and for the smile that he gives me that warms my heart every day as if it were the first!

    I am thankful for P's "aunties" who are also my two BFFs.  They help me so much and their husbands are great male role models for P

    I am thankful that there are tons of fun things to look forward this summer.  Weddings, showers, and bachelorette parties.  Even though the activities are centered around people getting married it doesn't make me sad.

    I am thankful for self tanner so I won't look like a ghost in a bikini this summer

    I am thankful that warmer weather is (hopefully) coming

    I am thankful for my DD Gwyn.  She is my sunshine through all of this.

    I am thankful for a good lawyer.  Although I know the road ahead will be tough, I feel that I have the best representation I can.

    I know it is Sunday but I just wanted to say that I am thankful that I have friends who welcomed DS and I to their home to celebrate them getting a home. It has been far too long since I have been happy.
