Baby Carrier

Hi ladies!

We just purchased the Chicco baby carrier, but I wanted to ask what carrier you ladies use (and do you like it?) for your LO's? I've read mixed reviews on the Chicco, but since I'm a huge fan of Chicco, I thought we'd give it a try.

I couldn't see a huge difference between the Baby Bjorn carrier ($100) and the Chicco ($50) carrier, so any insight you could give would be great.

    I have a Pikkolo that I love, love, love!!!!!  I cannot say enough good things about it.

    i have three:

    moby: nice when he was a newborn, haven't used it since.

    ergo: was great with the newborn insert when he was a newborn, but haven't used it since

    gemini: i LOVE this one--it is not for newborns but is great for about four months and up. he can face forward in it, which he cannot do in the ergo, and it's the only position he likes.

    DD never liked being worn, but I have a Baby Hawk and I liked it when I was able to use it. I've also heard good things about the Ergo. I could never get the Moby to work right for me, and that won't last as long.

    We can't live without our Ergo!  Even now at 12.5 months my dd loves to snuggle in. For the first 8-9 months of her life she could fall asleep in it no matter where we were or what was going on.  It was a lifesaver for us when we were away from home or at busier events.  It also really helped her to comfort her if she was upset or in pain with teething.  She would be a hot mess and we would put her in it and she would instantly relax. Love the Ergo!

    I have a Bjorn, an Ergo and a Beco.  The Bjorn sucks.  I couldn't carry my older DS in it past 4 months.  I didn't even get it out of the box this time.

     

    LOVE the Ergo and Beco.

    Love, love, love my Ergo!!!  I didn't get it until DDs were about a year old, but I still use it a ton now.  In fact, I had one DD on my back tonight when I was working on dinner and it makes it so much easier going somewhere with both DDs by myself (one on back, one in cart or arms, etc). 
    2004-Started TTC; Nov 2007-Lap with endo removed; Jan 2008-Ectopic (mtx); April 2008-IVF #1 (bfp, twin girls); March 2011-FET (cp); June 2012-IVF #2 (bfp, singleton, EDD 3-19-12)

    I got a baby Bjorn from a rummage sale for $10. I like it, but it is a little hot to wear. DH will probably use it more than me though and that's the one that he wanted. Its kind of the man baby carrier, from what I've seen.
