DS has slept in his carseat most of his life, due to reflux. He had been getting to the point where he would sleep almost 8 hours straight, eat, then another 1-2 hrs. It was great! Well, we really want to transition him to his crib, so I started putting him to sleep in his cradle to get him used to lying down flat (one end is slightly elevated for his reflux) and he only sleeps maybe 5 hours, then another 2 hours. I'm worried he won't do well in the crib yet. He's used to that feeling of the carseat, being surrounded and sort of cradled. How did your baby do when you moved them to the crib? Did they sleep better? Thanks!
Re: Putting LO to sleep in crib- does baby sleep better?
Life of mrsjanks
How is the reflux now? Can you prop up the mattress in the crib?
We moved Jake to his crib a long time ago, and he transitioned well.
We also purchased the Fisher Price Precious Planets Proection mobile, too.

He's really into lights and sounds. This helps soothes him to sleep.
Jake sleeps about 7 hours a night now. It's fabulous, but we struggled for a long time with sleep issues.
Good luck!!
We do have that mobile and he loves it! We also have the mattress propped a bit.
