This is so funny because my mom just had a dream that my husband filled out the birth certificate without me and named the baby AL.
Worst name, Credin. Only because it makes me think of cretin (a thyroid disorder that makes people really little). Their whole family is really really small so I think it was a bad choice but oh well lol.
Get this one: someone on my husband's side named there daughter Amathy - a made up name of Amanda & Timothy (the parents). Ironic thing is our names are just that (Tim and Amadna) and we keep laughing about how "Amathy" is taken so we must name our daughter Timanda.
Jess & Adam, married 2009, precious Audrey born in 2011. BFP 1/6/13, 6-wk MMC discovered at 9 wks 2/11/13. D&C 2/18/13, second D&C 4/23/13 for retained placenta. BFP 8/24/13!! EDD 5/1/14, delivered healthy and sweet Zoey Leanne on 5/5/14 by repeat c-section.

LOL... thanks, I needed this.
Honestly, I just cannot top some of the names here. I guess my world is pretty normal. I do have to share an "aha!" moment though. I knew a boy growing up who had an unusual name. As a kid I didn't think much of it. But recently when pondering names it hit me that his parents named him a horrid phrase. I don't want to post the person's name here (feel weird about that) but here's an idea of what this kid's name sounded like when said out loud: "Roll In Hay."

Re: Fugliest names you have heard recently...
Should say mom, not mome
And we asked about Albert also but that too got the barf face...because Alby is so much easier on the ear.
Alby is pretty bad.
For me, it's the one I just saw on a site..

Brinkley
A name I've heard of before, but I was shocked to hear my mom say that she liked it recently! And I thought we had such close taste in names... LOL
Raeleigh
It's a smoosh of the mom and dad - Rachel and Brad Lee (not Bradley)
The name is bad, but the spelling is worse.
Paelyn is horrible. OMG, horrible for so, so many reasons.
Chicory is the worst name I've heard recently (for a boy).
Abcde
Pronounced "AB-si-dee", No joke I met a little girl named this
Met 12/31/05 * Engaged 12/31/08 * Married 12/31/09
