Please recommend your white noise mahine
We just got ds to sleep through the night, but he has to have a fan on full blast for the noise. We would like to get a sound machine though so we don't have to use the fan. We are looking for something that would have a loud dull roar like the fan. We have used a sound machine off the phone but that's obviously not a good permanent solution plus its not a dull sound or near loud enough.

My sister and BIL got us this one by homedics at Bed Bath & Beyond. It has white noise, lullabies, and projects onto the ceiling or wall. I like it, but J doesn't use it to sleep anymore.

There is also a white noise app for cell phones/Ipad that we have used in a pinch. When we're out and trying to get DD to sleep in her car seat.
We have three of these white noise machines in our house (one in each bedroom) and we couldn't sleep without them! My sisters have them, our pediatrician even recommended them and they have nothing but glowing reviews on Amazon! Yes it is a little more expensive than most but they last for years (my sister has had one for over 10 years and it still works like a charm) I tried the homedics brands but the fact that they had a noticeable "loop" in the recording drove me crazy. This machine actually makes its sound from conditioning the air through the machine so there is no loop and its quite loud!
