I need to rant about the hospital a minute.

So, Patrick went in for an MRI yesterday. Not only were we not allowed to feed him after midnight, but then they keep us waiting until 11:20 (we had to be there at 9:45). The poor kid was starving.
Secondly, we finally see the anesthesiologist and he says he'll have to be admitted for observation because he's so young. Really? The 2, count them, TWO nurses I spoke with the day before about his MRI couldn't mention that? We came totally unprepared. And hospital food is really expensive.
Also, whoever put the IV in was an idiot. By the time he got to recovery, it was almost falling out of his hand.
Urgh! I don't ever want to do that again!

His doctors wanted to check for Horner's Syndrome because he has a droopy eyelid, but everything came back normal. He's going to be my pirate baby and wear an eye patch
I have no internet. The electric company dug up the cable lines instead of their own, so we have to wait for the cable company to come and replace them. So half our development has no tv or internet. And we had no power at all for about 20 hours last week. It was great. So I'm stealing internet from somebody on the other side of the development who has cable still. It's very shoddy, so I can only get on sporadically.
