Our ped appointment was super long yesterday. The doctor came to the conclusion that it's not anything medically wrong with DS, it's all behavioral and linked to my responses which is why he's so much better when DH is around.
The pediatrician has me doing a 5 minute cry it out during the day time. I just did my first one. The dog kept looking at me from across the room waiting for me to pick the baby up. After a few minutes he got up, walked over to the baby, stuck his nose on the DS's forehead and then after getting screamed at, jumped a bit and walked away. At 5 minutes I picked him up, burped him a little, put him back down, shoved his nuki in his mouth and walked away. He whimpered and cried a little more but eventually stopped! He's now sleeping. Not in my arms, not attached to my boob, but sleeping. On his own. And he only screamed for about 7 minutes. Don't get me wrong it was a long 7 minutes but 7 minutes isn't really bad at all, usually it goes on much longer and in my arms none-the-less!
Here's to getting the house picked up some today ![]()
