2 1/2 pushes. The first push (the 1/2) i held back because I thought I was pooping!
I did tear.
I was induced with Prostin gel at 3:30, home by 5. Was having contractions at home by 6:30. Back at the hospital by 9. I went from 2-3cm to 4 to 8 in 1/2hr. They raced me to L&D and he was born not long after. Good thing we left the house when we did or he would've been born in the living room!
And just to throw it out there because I was so proud of myself, I was in labor for 50 hours and threatened with a c-section 2 different times and I roughed it out and had my vaginal delivery darnit!
Marriage is not just spiritual communion, it is also remembering to take out the trash.
11/2013- Diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis 07/2014- emergency surgery to remove hemorrhaging cyst first RE missed, removed endo from fallopian tubes, hsg done, d&c performed to remove polyphs in uterus, femvue done, put on dexamethasone and metformin 08/2014- miscarriage, second RE refuses to mark down in charts, switch again 03/2016- IUI #1, waiting for results on April 17
Did you have pain medication/an epidural? Epidural. Also had a shot of morphine when first admitted to relieve back labor and get some sleep. I went from 1cm to 5cm while sleeping after that shot.
Did you tear or have an episiotomy? 3rd degree tear
Pushed 3.5 hours (the corner of his head was trying to come out first and did once we used the vacuum and they threatened c-section. I had worked to hard for them to cut me open!!)
First baby, pushed for 45 minutes, no pain meds, had an episiotomy (which sucked! Very hard to recover from it. It was worse than labor with no pain meds!) I was at 6 cm when I arrived at the hospital and it went quickly from there. I was only in labor for nine hours total...only five from the time I arrived at the hospital until she was delivered. It seemed like an hour, it was so fast!

First baby. I pushed for 36 minutes. I had an epidural, but it had started wearing off prior to me pushing (the hospital was super crowded that day so the anesthesiologist never made it back to give me another dose before Maya was born). I tore and had to get 4 stitches.
Baby#1 I pushed for 10 min. 4 sets of 3 pushes. I had an epi and some tearing.
Baby#2 I hand no meds and after 3 pushes I just pulled him out myself. This time I had a 2nd degree tear.
