A few days ago I saw a toddler in a pool in a swim vest that had a ring around the child's body for balance in the water. What a great idea!
I just spent half an hour looking for this vest online, with no luck. I found this type of a vest on Amazon and Babies R us but it is for bigger kids (3 years old).
Do you happen to know where I can purchase a swim vest with a ring around it (for balance) for a toddler who is 33 inches long, 25 lb?
If not, can you recommend a swim vest for a small toddler (something that is pretty stable in the water and does not rise up the child's body)
TIA!
Re: Swim vest that helps to keep balance in the water?

It goes around their waist and arms. I got it at Target at the end of last year because my Lo's sitter raved about it for her own LO
We have a puddle jumper but it's supposed to be for 30lbs and up. DD is close to 29lbs and it fits well. However, if they don't keep their legs straight down or back behind them, they will tip backwards and their head can go under. It only took DD (almost 2) one day to learn how to balance herself. Now, she can jump into the pool by herself, go under and pop back up and then turn herself and swim to the stairs. Even with this on I of course am standing with her in the pool the entire time. When it's just us, I try to let her swim freely, but the other day there were 3 other kids and a few other adults in the pool so I felt better with her having it on.
