Did anyone else chart/use a fertility monitor to conceive? I'm wondering/hoping/praying that this will mean no overdue baby since I read this week that something like 70% of women who think they were "overdue" actually miscalculated their ovulation date.
Any 2nd time mommies or ladies with outside babies find this fact to be true?
Re: ~Did you chart/use monitor to conceive???~
I didn't chart, but the month I conceived I was on Clomid and using OPK's, so I know for sure when I ovulated. My due date based on my u/s was 3 days later, than that one, so all the way through I've kind of mentally had both 6/19 and 6/22 as due dates in my mind.
Ugh! That sucks! After going through the IVF, I bet you just want this baby here already!
Here's hoping you'll go VERY soon.
Exactly this, but replace the dates with June 22nd and June 26th.
My MW and I have been using my due date based off of charting, but at my NT and anatomy scan the baby measured a few days ahead. Not enough to change anything, but pretty consistent.
It's good to know when you ovulated and everything, but I think 40 weeks being an average also has to do with differences in fetal development, not just inaccuracy of using LMP to calculate the date.
