Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Think it is time for the crib!!

I was hesitant because having DD sleep with me is just a lot easier. But, the past couple nights she has been getting up around 6am and just kicking and hanging out for like an hour...no crying, no fussing! Of course this wakes me up, cause she is usually kicking me! lol

I just keep thinking, if she was in her crib, she could do her little routine and I can get an extra hour of sleep!!

I am sad about moving her though :(

  • DS does the same thing. He wakes up around 6:15 and just hangs out in his crib until he is ready to get up around 7:00. GL with the transition

  • Not sure how old your baby is b/c I can't see tickers at work, but my DS is almost 3 months and he has been sleeping 8+ hours a night in his bassinet. We are going to try him in the crib this weekend! I love the bassinet b/c his crib is upstairs (with brother) and we are downstairs, so we will see! GL!

DD is 7 weeks old today. GOod luck with your transition!

  • We just moved DD to the crib - I think around 8 weeks and it was great.  She totally babbles for a good hour in the morning totally happy and content but it allows us more time to sleep a bit.  She loves the crib!  Good luck!  Give it a try.  I was terrified!  My husband put her down the first night she was in the crib bc I was so scared it wouldn't work and it totally did...
