When did you start seeing an allergist? I believe my LO has an intolerance to dairy and eggs. We suspect there may be something else but haven't figured out what yet. When she was getting eggs and dairy through BM she would scream unconsolably as if in pain and have mucous diapers. These symptoms have mostly gone away but now she is getting a rash again on her tummy and diaper area. Our pediatrician never mentioned anything about allergy testing and dismissed us saying most of the times it's just a virus. Did you wait a while before going to an allergist or should we be doing that? Thank you!

This. We actually should have went when our dd was younger. We waited until she was 7 mos old so she suffered a lot longer that she should have. Good Luck!
find an allergist on your own and take your son. My doc also dismissed the idea until my son went into an ana reaction and had to be rushed to the ER. it sounds like an allergy so i would just at least make an appointment and chat with the allergist. In the mean time write down everything he east and his reactions.
gl!
Like magda, my doctor didn't take it seriously until a trip to the ER. I actually saw an allergist before that, but he just gave me steroids and told me to see a derm. The day I tapered to the lowest dose of steroids I had an ana reaction.
If you can, see an allergist on your own. I also think it's important to write down everything, and take pictures of his skin reactions in case it has calmed down when you get to the doc.
