I need to make a bilingual sign which says: "please do not pack items behind this tape." Our movers are coming and I need to rope off a few belongings that won't get moved and wanted to put up a sign to simplify me not having to hover .
Could someone please translate for me into spanish? Thanks!
Re: NBR: Spanish speakers, please help!
I'm a little rusty, but this should be pretty darn close (enough to get the point across):
Por favor no empaqueta las cosas detras de esta cinta. (I don't know how to type it, but the word detras has an accent mark over the a)
ETA: The word empaqueta means to put in a box, so if the things are already in boxes and you just don't want them on the truck, that would probably be a different word.
This is pretty close, but I would say
Por favor no empaque las cosas detras de esta cinta.
You want to use the "usted" form of empacar
Argh--you're right! Told you I was rusty.

But it was almost perfect!
