Just getting started...

I've been away for a while, but now I'm back.  :)  DH and I were having trouble deciding when to start TTC up until this week.  It was a little hard for me reading posts when I didn't have any idea about when I could share the same experiences.

I was visiting my sister and her husband and just got back on Tuesday afternoon.  My sister was due in July, but her son decided he was coming 4 weeks early and was born on June 18... one day before my birthday!  And almost exactly 24 hours after my sister drove me and my mom to the airport!!  Even though he was early, everyone is healthy and happy.

I only had a couple of BC pills left, and DH and I had been debating if we should wait one more month... again...  But maybe a new nephew finally pushed us to decide to go for it.  So today was my first BC-free day in over six years.

I was so busy today that I didn't have much time to really think about it... but now I'm freaking out a little.  I'm ridiculously excited, and no one besides me and DH - and you guys! - even knows that we were pondering becoming parents!!

Thanks for letting me vent.  :)
