Stupid peppers

I can't wait to get back to a house/apt that has gas. I'm trying to roast bell peppers under the broiler. It's so much freaking work. With a gas burner, I just turned the burner to high and held the peppers over the flame until they charred. Easy peasy. So far, I have burned 2  fingers, the kitchen is filled with smoke, the dogs are cowering by the door... they better be worth it.

    I hate using the broiler.

    Also? I totally thought the subject said "stupid peepers,"  and I was picturing people peering in through your window.

    I hate the broiler too! What are you making out of the roasted peppers? I miss my gas stove too

    LOL. 

    Our sliding door, and pretty much only window, faces out onto the sidewalk by the parking lot. Everyone and their mother walks by our apartment. And because we're awesome, Riley hates it when people walk by. So, you know. I hate peepers too.
