Breastfeeding

Ok my love, I don't want to be an EP'er.

My DD has been on a nursing strike so I have been forced to pump.  Yesterday she didn't even want a bottle & today she takes the bottle but refuses the breast.  I really don't like pumping but will obviously do so if that's what she needs.  I wish I never complained about breastfeeding when I had sore nipples & she was cluster feeding.  This is so much worse for me.

  • If I were you I would offer the breast first, then bottle, then attempt breast again. That would be rough for me too!

  • I do offer her the breast first.  She's been stiffening up, pulling away & making this growling sound & if I keep trying, she starts to cry.  Not fun for anyone.

  • I have recently had issues getting her to stay on my breast as well. I can get her to latch on but then after awhile she starts to get fussy and doesn't want the breast any more. I think I may EP for a couple of days to see if there is a difference. But I need to do something because last night DH and I barely got any sleep.
