Inflatable Pool: Genius or Not?

I found something like this for $18 plus a pump......is this genius or will it be a huge waste if LO arrives in the next few days. I can't decide.

All I know is it is in the 90's and I can't be outside without being miserable.

So, are DH and I trashy if we buy and set this up in our backyard? And then my pregnant self sits in it (probably not in a bathing suit) for like the next 2 weeks (potentially) straight?

Genius. Where did you find that? I've been hollering for a inflatable pool for weeks now. But can't afford the $80-ish pools at Wal-mart.

I say go for it. You can use it after the fact too and in the future! LO will love that next year!

Haha...genius! I sat out in our backyard for about an hour today, but I couldn't stand it without a pool (and it wasn't even that hot...maybe 80). I told my H that he needs to go get me a kiddie pool so I can work on my tan and stay cool before baby arrives.

We got a nice big one at Family Dollar for $35. But, unfortunately with the winds and drought here it got nasty dirty the next day. We drained it and then the dogs ate a hole in it.

I say genius.

I would totally get that and sit outside in it Plus, LO will get lots of use of it later on!

Not quite sure how an inflatable pool would made you trashy... but I would definitely go for it.

I got the same pool last year and I wasn't pregnant lol. I'm buying two tomorrow bc last year it got pretty funky by the end of the summer.

I was just thinking about how awesome it would be to go swimming today. I think it's awesome and am now trying to figure out how to convince him that we should get one too.

I have a feeling that thing would be a bathtub in about 30 minutes in our backyard! But it's already pushing 100 today. BLEH. Air conditioning only for me, thank you!

I plan on buying one for my yard this summer. I wish I would've bought one sooner for me! lol. Go for it! It's not too late I guess. Maybe i'll buy one tomorrow... yeah..

It's only trashy if one sits in the little plastic pool they bought for their dog(s). And no, I haven't done this- contemplated it on hot days in years past- but never done it.
