Oh MIL

My MIL is very sweet and well meaning, but um, interesting.  We had only been dating a couple of years when she told me at the dinner table that she would make me lots of tea "to make the milk come in" when we have babies.  Ok, we're not even engaged yet but whatever.  Awkward.

Well, a couple of months ago she called her friend at the American Botanical Council here in Austin and had them set aside some fenugreek for me.  This place is open from 9-6, M-F only and is on the East side, nowhere near home or work for either of us.  Neither of us leaves work in time to get there before closing.  She has be hounding us about picking it up, but we've just been too busy to leave work early.  DH only worked until 2:00 yesterday so he went and picked it up.  There are 12, yes TWELVE, bottles of fenugreek in a sack from the spice shop about 5 blocks from our house. 

Talk about pressure to BF.

    Wow, um... wow.  She doesn't even know you'll have any problems yet, should you decided to BF!  Something about your bewbies just tells me you won't have any trouble. ;)  But, nice to know you've got plenty of fenugreek should you need it! lol

    Butting in, B I just sent you a txt about hypnobirthing.  I also have half a bottle of fenugreek left over if you need extra. :)

    I did find a hypnobirthing class, thanks ladies!  Someone squeezed us in.  I called the place you rec'd K, but it is in Georgetown only.  Bummer.

    C - I owe you an email.  I'll email re: the text, too.  thanks girl! 

    To be clear, it's not that I don't appreciate what she did, but isn't 12 bottles a little overkill?  Especially for something that I may or may not need.  Thank God I want to BF!
