what physical activity are you looking forward to?

so after all this is said and done, what are you looking forward to being able to do physically once again?

i'd like to be able to walk up the stairs without feeling like i'm dying for one

i also can't wait to exercise. i told dh i might try to go to the gym this weekend and try the elliptical machine... he said he'd rather i didn't lol

  • I can't wait to sleep on my stomach and rollerblade again!!!  I'll need to get my booty back in shape and cannot wait to skate with my jogger!

    I'm looking forward to having sex again. My back and hips are so screwed up at this point that I'd probably have to have a chiropractor standing by to adjust me as soon as DH stepped away, or I wouldn't be able to move.

  • more strenuous workouts (kickboxing!!) and being able to sleep on my stomach again!!
  • I cannot wait to sleep on my stomach and roll over without feeling like I need heavy machinery.  I am also looking forward to my gardening again.  It is way too hard to weed when you are this big!

  • The sad thing is, after you have the baby, you still can't sleep on your stomach because your boobs are so ginormous and leaking, you are forced to remain on your side and/or back.  Bummer (but obviously worth it).
  • Normal sex! Also, being able to play and run with my toddler!
  • First thing that came to mine, Rough and rowdy sex :-)

    I managed to sleep on my stomach even when I had E-cups on a size 4 body. I also managed to sleep on my stomach within 2 weeks of having said E-cups reduced to a C, when they were still seeping lymph and other fluids from healing. 

    I think I'd probably still be doing it now, except I get kicked if I roll over even just a little too far forward! I am a determined stomach sleeper!

    Well I'm not really a belly sleeper but every once or twice during the night, I like to be able to roll over on my stomach. So if I'm able to do that just for a little bit then I'm good Big Smile

    Haha nice!  Oh how I miss sleeping on my stomach.  But I swear when I was breastfeeding, it was the leaking and engorgement pain that kept me from sleeping on my boobs.  :(

    This and my DH said the same thing!  I miss the gym sssoooo much!  I've been way to swollen to work out.  I day dream about fitness classes!

    Rolling over easily.

    Sex, though we have found the stairs to be quite nice during pregnancy. Will keep that going afterward!

    Riding my bike. Which would be safe NOW, if I rode on roads. DH and I however go offroad on trails. Not too safe right now for that.

  • I miss the flexibility of being able to do all of my yoga poses. I can't wait to be able to stretch out every single muscle in my body! I feel so stiff pregnant.

    I can't say I miss exercising because I haven't stopped yet! I can't imagine going 9 months without exercising. I do, however, miss being able to do the variety of exercises I did pre-pregnancy rather than all of this boring low impact stuff!
