  DD #1: We chose Charlotte so that we could call her Charley. DH's grandfather was Grandpa Charley, and he passed away the month after we got married. Her middle name is Raye in honor of our BIL who passed away (brain tumor) at the age of 26.

  DD #2: We chose Gwyneth because it means "happy, blessed." (And DD #1 already has nicknamed her "Winnie" which I think is adorable.) Her middle name is Lynn in honor of DH's mom and my dad. 

  
  

   We are doing Charli, as a form of Charlotte for our little girl. Charlotte is my grandmothers name, she is still alive and she is very close and special to me.

   Charli means 'Free man' (Charlotte means 'Free'-so we'll just go with that and cut off the man part! lol)

  Reese means 'Running'. So her full name means "free running"-kinda cool

  We chose Charli for my grandmother as I said above. We chose Reese b/c it sounded good and it was one of the only names DH and I agreed on.

  1) Catherine means "Pure" and Marguerite means "Pearl."

  2) We always pick names we like for first names, with the general rule that they have to have some kind of a nickname (Our Isabella goes by Ella and our Oliviagoes by Liv. Catherine will be called Cate.)

  We use names with a family connection for middle names. Marguerite is H's Grandmother's middle name. I also thought that it was neat that Marguerite means "pearl" and this little girl could have pearl as her birthstone if she waits until June to come out! 
  

  Really? I wonder where, because In French a "marguerite" is a daisy

  Eloise Clare

  1) Eloise: Famous Warrior     Clare: Bright

  2) We both really liked Eloise and it is not popular in our area. Everyone thinks we named her after the booked series but I didn't even know about it until I googled it. At least she'll have a bunch of books with her name on it. Clare is after County Clare in Ireland. My maiden name was super Irish and my married name is very German so I wanted her to keep a little Irish with her.
