Re: Clicky poll? Boy or Girl or who cares?!

  • I chose a boy :) I have always had dreams about a baby boy..very vivid and real dreams, years before getting pg. And I would love to give DH a son, have the first boy for his side of the family and 2 of my friends are pg and are having boys! BUT--if it were a girl I wouldnt be the least bit dissapointed..either way its gonna be awesome. plus..if its a girl...that would be 5 generations on my side...my great grandmother would be a great-great abuela!! :)

  • I voted girl. I would love for DD to have a sister, plus I just think I'm better with girls, shopping and manicures, playing with dolls, etc.

    DH wants a boy though!

    We'll see!!

  • We both want a girl, but of course we'll be good with either :)

  • My son (who is 3) desperately wants a baby sister.  He is obsessed with Cailou and he wants a baby sister just like Rosie in the cartoon.

My family has had 6 births in the past 8 years and we have had all boys. A girl would be a nice chance of pace.

However, I'd be gaga over a boy too!

I would be happy with either.  I really have no preference....healthy little girl or little boy is all I want  :)

  • I voted boy. I think having two boys would be easier because I already have lots of boy things, they would most likely like a lot of the same things, and I think they might grow up to be closer. That being said I certainly wouldn't be disappointed with a girl. I'd just have to make some adjustments

  • I have already been blessed to have one of each. I am leaning towards girl this time around because I think it would be easier for my 22 month old to bond with a sister than my 3.5 year old with a brother. I will be happy either way.

  • I use to be very set on having a boy so much so I waited to conceive based on the Chinese Calendar, and now I'm happy with just a healthy baby.  This has been such a nerve racking couple of weeks that I don't even think about the gender.  I just want to make it to the 2nd trimester, and will probably then think about it again.

I have no preference at all! Neither does my husband.

  • I think both have their pros.  I like girl clothes so much, but I also love playing with little boys and I like little boy nursery stuff way more.

  • I said boy, but I would also be thrilled with a girl. I'm also a little terrified to have a girl though. Having a boy would be easier, just because we already have all boy clothes and whatnot.

  • I said I don't care because I flip-flop on this at least once a day. We already have DS so sometimes I think I would love to have a girl, and have one of each. Other times I think I would love for DS to have a little brother. We will just have to wait and see!

  • It's taken such a long time to get to this point that I really don't care.  I would be happy with either.  DH would love a son as he already has a daughter, but I know he would be happy either way as well.

  • DH and I both want a girl. We have one girl and really can't afford to go buy all new stuff for a boy. Plus we both just feel we're better with girls.

  • My husband wants a little girl so badly. He grew up with 2 older brothers and had a sister who died when she was only a few days old. Because he never had a sister he wants a little girl so badly! I personally will be happy either way (and I know if it turned out to be a boy he would be just as excited).
